I’m seeing red this morning.
Out my office window I see a row of red sumac along the fence, a row of red burning bushes along the boulevard, and a row of red brake lights lined up in the Tim Horton’s drive-through.

Red is my favorite colour. All my favorite shirts are red, and even the cardinal is my favorite bird. (the winged kind, not the baseball team.) One thing can always be said for red: it's not boring. :)
